Team Frank Pedals (Positive Energy Dueling ALS) Fund
Last year we received the sad news that my brother-in-law (Frank Bos) has been diagnosed with ALS, which is a fatal muscle and nerve disease. Most patients will pass away, 3 years after diagnosis. To give future ALS patients a better perspective, more research is required. To this end, Frank has founded a Tour du ALS team, named PEDALS (Positive Energy Dueling ALS). This group has already collected 167.000 euros with a group target of 250.000 euros. Next to a financial target, we will have a sportive target as well: each participant will climb the Mont Ventoux one or multiple times. Frank's PEDALS: Positive Energy Dueling ALS Fund
Last year, my brother's best mate (Frank Bos) was diagnosed with ALS, which is a fatal muscle and nerve disease. Most patients will pass away within 3 years after diagnosis. Frank is one of the most energetic, positive, and inspiring persons I know and on top of that a true athlete. We share a passion for cycling and over the years we've undertaken some great biking adventures together like the "Maratona dles Dolomites", riding the Golden Gate Bridge with both families, and the famous Utrecht-Vrouwenpolder tour with exclusively headwind... Frank is now putting his "endless" energy and positivity for 200% at work to raise funds against this awful disease. For that, he has recruited a team of (currently 140) friends & family to climb the Mont Ventoux in June '24, as part of the "Tour du ALS" organized by "Stichting ALS Nederland". And he's aiming high.... the goal is to collect 250.00 euro. So....if I can help Frank by jumping on the bike together again, then I don't need to think twice! I want to be there for Frank, for his wife and kids, and for my brother Wouter. Please help us raise as much as possible money, which will go towards research to defeat ALS.
